Hi, I am Krystal Coetzee, the CEO and Founder of One Mode Consulting and this is my furry assistant Olive.  Here at One Mode Consulting, our single goal is to help you grow by streamlining, organizing, and analyzing your finances.

I have over 20 years’ experience in various finance and consulting roles.  I started my career at Ernst & Young and transitioned into leading the finance team at a global Company.  When I started consulting, one thing was glaringly obvious to me and that was many entrepreneurs were extremely knowledgeable about their product, service or industry, but knew very little about the financial side of their business.  Also, they didn’t have the foundation, framework and insights to help them make smart decisions quickly and most importantly make profitable decisions.  

Many business owners are “flying by the seat of their pants”.  Let me tell you, working with multiple billion dollar companies that would NOT happen.  Revenue, gross margin, operating profit,  variance vs last year vs budget vs quarterly forecasts is part of every single executive and board meeting, a decision does not get made without understanding the impact to these very important numbers!  

So I thought why aren’t small businesses doing the same?  Well, the truth is the accounting and finance function tends to get put on the back burner as a compliance task rather than a strategic investment. It is usually that mentality that gets businesses in trouble.  

This is exactly why I started One Mode Consulting, I wanted to give business owners the tools and insights to start, grow and scale their business confidently!
